I have been messing about in shares for 30yrs hoping to make a pile.
Will soon be to late.
Did have bright spot today, i own shares in Shanks price up 40% today due to take over bid.
I am hanging on hoping for better offer.
Think stock market as a whole is to high to soon, so have about 30% of capital in cash.

Just a bit about me

I live on my own finished work when i was 60 now 66.
Have own house and car.
I am in several local social groups and have a wide circle of friends but none close.
Would like a nice lady for close friendship but unable to click as yet.
Have grandson and his mum but only see them couple of times a year because they are in Devon.
I like to take an interest in wild life and history. member of national trust local and national also english heritage, rspb. go to wlt meetings.
Do lot of group walks.
Would like to find something more interesting to do but do not know what.
